The signature classic corridor trek: Sankaber, Geech, Imet Gogo and Chenek, with optional Bwahit-area morning hike on the final day. Walking distance approximately 30–45 km depending on route and optional hikes. This is the core Simien product for travellers who want the full western escarpment circuit without a summit attempt.

Day 01Gondar to Sankaber
Gondar ~2,200 m; Sankaber ~3,250 m; drive ~100 km; walking approximately 5–13 km depending on trail. After breakfast travel north toward Debark for park arrangements; begin walking into the highlands; Gelada often gather; overnight Sankaber Camp.

Day 02Sankaber to Geech
Altitude ~3,250–3,600 m; walking approximately 10–14 km; ~5–7 hours. Follow the escarpment toward Geech; descend toward Jinbar River; Jinbar Waterfall highlight; climb toward Geech; overnight Geech Camp.

Day 03Geech to Chenek via Imet Gogo
Highest point ~3,926 m; walking approximately 15–17 km; ~7–9 hours. Climb to Imet Gogo; continue toward Chenek across highland ridges; Gelada and possible Walia ibex; overnight Chenek Camp.

Day 04Chenek & return to Gondar
Chenek ~3,620 m. Morning around Chenek; optional morning hike toward Bwahit area according to fitness, weather and time; meet vehicle and return to Gondar via Debark.
