- Gondar → Debark
Highland road with farming, villages and geography commentary (~100 km; often up to around two hours)
- Debark → park
Park arrangements; continue into Simien Mountains National Park as escarpments open
- Gelada / walk
Observe if a troop is found; short Simien walk; possible viewpoints around Sankaber and the western escarpment
- Lunch
